Responders needed a systematic way to document the spill’s impact on many miles of affected shoreline.

SCAT is designed to support decision-making for shoreline cleanup.

Aerial Surveillance TRAINING

Aerial Surveillance is an important step in oil spill response for assessing the appearance and distribution of oil spilled on the water.

This information is used by the incident Command to prioritize the response and to dirrect cleanup resources.
