Dr. Bayu Satya, B.Sc.
Dr. Bayu Satya, B. Sc. has dedicated his life to Oil Spill Response (OSR) for over 41 years. He started his career in 1981 as an OSRE (Oil Spill Response Equipment) salesman. He then joined Leadership Limited, a Norwegian Government and is the oldest company working in the marine field in Indonesia. Dr. Bayu Satya, B. Sc. has numerous experiences of working with OSRE around the world, including : Japan, Denmark, UK and USA.
His experience in leading teams combating oil spills in Indonesia, on land and at sea, have strengthened OSCT INDONESIA’S role as a capable oil spill combat team in Indonesia and worldwide. He has been an independent lecturer on oil booms and oil skimmers since 1986.
In February 2007, Bayu Satya, B. Sc. received an award as the third best speaker from among 15 oil spill experts from around the world at the International Symposium hosted by Petroleum Association of Japan (PAJ) in Tokyo, Japan. He was the first Asian to be ranked in the top three speakers at the prestigious international symposium. He was also appointed by Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) as the Team Leader for Tier-2 Base Assessment Area I in North Sumatra and Area V Tier-2 Base Assessment in East Java where Area V is the first Tier-2 Base in Indonesia.
Dr. Bayu Satya, B. Sc. received the International Award Carthage in Campidoglio Rome, Italy, in 2014, for his role in saving the environment from the negative impacts of oil spill in Indonesia and around the world. This was an important award for Indonesia as it was the first time an Indonesian citizen received such a remarkable award.

Commodore (retired) Soegito
Commodore (retired) Soegito together with DR. Bayu Satya, B.Sc. are the founders of OSCT Indonesia. He graduated from Staff & Command Collage of the Indonesian Navy (SESKOAL). Later, he joined the Staff Collage of the Army Forces (SESKOGAB) and the National Defense Institute (LEMHAMNAS). He succeeded in implementing the International ISO Management System Including ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 for OSCT Indonesia.
Adding to his role as the Management Representative of OSCT Indonesia, MR. Soegito is also the President of Indonesia Amateur Radio Organization, the Presidium of Telecommunication Society, and the Chief of PEROPI (Diving, Boating, Water Skiing, and Motor Boating).
Because of his capabilities, experiences, knowledge, and loyalty to Indonesia, he has received many prestigious awards from the Indonesian Government, such as: SL Kesetiaan XXIV, SL Satya Dharma, SL Wira Dharma, SL Penegak, Bintang Jalasena Naraya, Sri Penghargaan of the Chief of Staff of the Indonesian Navy, and Telecommunication Adhikarya of the Ministry of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia.
Mr. Soegito was awarded Bintang Jalasena Naraya directly by the President of the Republic of Indonesia for his contributions to the Indonesian Military and Indonesian Navy. This award is the highest award given to Navy Generals in Indonesia for protecting Indonesia’s waters. He continues to actively contribute to OSCT Indonesia as an Advisor and Management Representative.
DIRECTOR
Hariadi Soeharsono, S.E.
Mr. Hariadi started his career in 1988 in departments of Human Resources and Finance. He has more than 17 years of experience in improving human resource management systems and in developing good finansial audits to ensure that the company where he was employed adheres to the existing laws and regulation, remains competitive with competent and word-class production, marketing, along with research and development staff.
Because of his experience, Mr. Hariadi is trusted to be the Director of OSCT Indonesia in 2015. Since then, Mr. Hariadi is actively monitoring the implementation of ISO 9001:2008 Quality System, ISO 14001:2004 Environment Management System and OHSAS 18001:2007 Safety Standards and is also actively involved in Human Resources Management and Finansial Audit. He ensures that OSCT Indonesia has responders who are always ready to combat spills.
Not only does he ensure that OSCT Indonesia always has ready responders, he also ensures that OSCT Indonesia’s personnel deliver service are in accordance with Indonesian regulations, IMO guidelines and Internasional standards.
He also continues to focus on improving the company’s human resource management system, as well as on developing a good financial management system. In addition, with his experience in Financial Audit, Mr. Hariadi also assists in ensuring that OSCT Indonesia is ready for IPO (Initial Public Offering) in the near future.
Under Mr. Hariadi’s experience and leadership, OSCT Indonesia is currently the largest oil spill response center in Indonesia and of the largest in the world woth over 200 skilled world-class personnel.
OPERATIONS MANAGER
Yodi Satya, B.Sc., M.Sc EDM
Mr Yodi Satya, BSc, MSc EDM started his career in 2001 as an Engineer for Telstra and other companies. In 2002, he was recruited as a technical staff of an Oil Spill Combat Departement to assist in oil spill incidents as well as to manage the flow of technical information in Australia. After he gained experience and knowledge of oil spill response and products, he permanently moved to Indonesia. In 2004 he took up the position of Incident Manager, and since then has been actively involved in managing oil spill incidents, product development, and business development.
Mr. Yodi Satya, BSc, MSc EDM has been combating many oil spill incident as an Incident Coordinator and a Team Leader, handling product installations and commissioning in Indonesia, Singapore, Middle East and around the world. One highly successful project by him is the permanent boom installation in Sentosa Island in 2001. He has also completed courses in oil spills obtaining internationally accredited certifications and various related courses in mechanical and hydraulics engineering.
Mr. Yodi Satya, BSc, MSc EDM has also passed and fulfilled the requirements of the Clearance Course approved by IMO and OPIO to act as an “On-Scene Commander”. He has attained internationally accredited Oil Spill Response certifications, as well as being an accredited and experienced OPRC IMO Level 1,2, &3 Trainer. He has also completed his Master’s Degree in Environmental Decision-Making from the United Kingdom (UK).
Mr. Yodi Satya, BSc, MSc EDM is now the Operations Manager and Incident Commander for Oil Spill Combat Team (OSCT). In 2015, he was invited as a speaker in an Oil Spill Response Workshop in 2015 held in Japan by the Petroleum Association of Japan (PAJ). He presented “Emerging Role of National Oil Spill Response Centers Beyond Borders”. This presentation won him an award as the 2nd impressive speaker among 8 International experts in the oil spill response workshop.
