EXPANSION

SLICKBAR expanded its business by establishing SLICKBAR Rental Division, supported by over 40 dedicated Indonesian responders and internationally renowned experts providing rental and maintenance of oil spill response equipment.

RENTAL

SLICKBAR Rental Division became the first oil spill response service provider to meet the requirement of ISO 9001:2008 Quality System, ISO 14001:2004 Environment Management Systems and OHSAS 18001:2007 Safety Standards to ensure that all services comply with international quality, environment and safety standards.

2011

ESTABLISHMENT

OSCT Indonesia is established as a new company, a private oil spill response centre in Indonesia replacing SLICKBAR Rental Division, and capable of providing services including development of oil spill contingency plans, accredited oil spill response trainings, rental of oil spill response equipment, maintenance of oil spill response equipment and emergency 24/7 response services. The team has grown to over 80 dedicated Indonesian responders.

MEMORENDUM

The Memorandum of Understanding between OSCT Indonesia and Oil Spill Response Limited (OSRL) Singapore acknowledges OSCT as a capable oil spill response centre and a crucial part of any response to oil spills in Indonesia.

2014

IPO

After becoming the first oil spill response centre in Asia to have two Giant Octopus Skimmer units in the previous year, in 2014 OSCT announced its readiness for Initial Public Offering (IPO). OSCT also signed MoU with NASOS (Vietnam), CPSE (Vietnam), IESG (Thailand), COES (China), PIMMAG (Malaysia) and MDPC (Japan) in the following year.

CHEMICAL SPILL SERVICES

OSCT Indonesia started providing Chemical Spill Services including Chemical Spill Response Planning, Chemical Spill Equipment Rental and Chemical Spill Response Training according to IMO OPRC-HNS. OSCT plans to open new stockpiles in Natuna, Palembang, Makassar, and Manado.

EXPERTS

OSCT Indonesia began its operations with a workforce of 120 oil spill combat experts, and now has reached 200 experts spread throughout Indonesia. In the near future, OSCT plans to expand its business in various countries, including Malaysia, Thailand, Uzbekistan and India.

EXPERIENCE

OSCT Indonesia conducted 24/7 continuous containment & recovery operation in Balikpapan major pipeline spill, was completed less then 2 weeks with over 1000 personnel from companies in the region and government stakeholders & 60 OSCT responders.

AWARD

OSCT Indonesia as the largest Oil Spill Response Centre in Indonesia and one of the largest in the world was invited to attend the 10th Oil Spill Workshop held by Petroleum Association of Japan (PAJ) on February 14th, 2020 to discuss recent major oil spill incidents and future preparedness.

OSCT Indonesia has achieved a good reputation, not only in Indonesia but also worldwide. Its is committed to always be on part  with competitions from developed countries by using national products and services.
